Sunday's Sermon Text:

Matthew 13:1-23

This weekend we return again to the book of Matthew and begin exploring the Parables of Jesus. The parables are intended to take everyday scenarios and through them teach us about the kingdom of God and the King of that kingdom. This week, we look at the parable of the Sower and will discover the power of God's Word and how we are intended to receive that Word.

As you prepare for worship this week, read the entirety of ch.13 and focus in on the difference in the way the soils in our parable for this week receive the seed of God's Word.
