No Sunday School on Easter morning. Join us for worship at 10:30am!

The ministry of King's Women seeks to equip the women of our church through biblical instruction, edifying fellowship, and Christ-centered discipleship in order that we may live faithful Christian lives in our homes, the church, our neighborhoods, and workplaces.

We love spending time together and growing in our knowledge and love of the Lord through joyful, authentic community.

Below you will find a description of the various ways we regularly gather together. For more information about any of these events, please  contact Jessalyn Hutto.

King's Women Fellowship Nights

The backbone of our men's and women's ministries are our monthly Fellowship Nights. The first Wednesday of each month is reserved for King's Women. These intimate evenings of fellowship are filled with laughter, thoughtful discussion, fervent prayer, and often tears as we honestly share what the Lord is doing in our hearts and minds and seek to bring our lives into greater alignment with his Word. Over coffee and dessert we enjoy a sweet time of singing, group prayer, and Bible study. We encourage all of the women of our church who are 14 and up to participate in these meetings.

Titus 2 Workshops

The women's ministry of King's Church is dedicated to gender specific ministry. In Titus 2:3-5 the older women of the church are commanded to teach the younger women what is good, and so train them to "love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled." At our semi-annual Titus 2 Workshops, we dedicate a Saturday morning to the biblical study of one particular subject relevant to our lives as Christian women. Through biblical instruction, personal study, introspection, and group discussion, we seek to be conformed to the image of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Topics we have covered in the past include taming the tongue, social media usage, biblical submission, beauty, and friendship.

To further our efforts to obey the command given to older women in Titus 2, we have also begun to occassionally gathering for various classes revolving around learning a new skill that will be useful as we seek to love our husbands, children, and community. Skills we have covered so far include cookie decorationg, sourdough, yogurt making, and watercolor painting.
