No Sunday School on Easter morning. Join us for worship at 10:30am!

King’s Kids exists to see the gospel transform the next generation of our church. As stewards of the families and children in our care (1 Cor. 4:1-2), our goal is to partner with parents to help their children know and follow Jesus Christ by:

  • Providing a loving, safe, and hospitable place for kids to learn about Jesus from faithful followers of Jesus (Mt. 19:14).
  • Proclaiming to the children the gospel of Jesus Christ, not just moral stories, trusting the Spirit to work through this means to transform the hearts of our children (Eph. 1:13-14).
  • Teaching children the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, in age appropriate ways, thus raising up mature disciples (Deut. 6:4-9).
  • Modeling for the children in our lives how to faithfully love God, love one another, and love the lost (1 Cor. 11:1).
  • Partnering with parents, who bear the primary responsibility for teaching and raising their children to know the Lord, through support, equipping, and encouragement (Eph. 6:4).

Purposefull Discipleship

At King's Church we are serious about raising up the next generation of mature believers in Christ. We've carefully and prayerfully selected our Sunday School curriculums as well as our Sunday School's scope and sequence with this goal in mind.

The Gospel Project (Ages 4-9)

Preschoolers and elementary aged children begin their time in the King's Kids ministry by walking through the redemptive storyline of the Bible. Each week they are systematically taught stories from the Word of God with a specific emphasis on how those stories connect to Jesus. Through this program they become familiar with the overarching storyline of the Bible as well as their personal need for a Savior.

New City Catechism (Ages 10-12)

Before graduating out of the children's ministry and entering the youth ministry, children walk through a robust catechism, learning the key doctrines of the Christian faith. Each week they will learn about a new theological concept, as well as grow in their understanding of church history. Through the King's Kids Catechism Class, children are encouraged to wrestle with deep truths, grow in their spiritual disciplines, and carefully consider their own spiritual condition.
